TAG CDMX
Memory book of the most disruptive and innovative festival on digital culture held in the vibrant Mexico City.

As a celebration of creative thinking and tech, the TAG CDMX festival commissioned us with an unconventional book that would communicate the rebellious and restless spirit of the community of attendees and the quality of its guests.

We imagined a book that captured the essence of five years of eclectic emotions. We conceived it not only as a remembrance object, but as one that would become a unique sensory experience. For a witness to the memory of TAG CDMX, it was not enough to document its trajectory; it had to be translated into the freshness, spontaneity, and seduction that its community had consolidated through each edition.

With the collaboration of leading photographers such as Jacobo Braun and Mark Powell, this book is an eclectic visual story that immerses you in the energy and excitement of the festival. But it doesn't stop there. Insert inspiring quotes from notable participants, adding an extra layer of depth and meaning to each page.

The photographic composition is based on the chromatic relationship, five grids, the lines of force, and the distribution of the images in the space of the double page. The harmony of colour is the eye-catcher, while the grids arrange the content. Inner lines of force lead the story toward key points, creating a dynamic visual experience.

Image distribution on the page refreshes the reader's interest and makes it easy to explore. These compositional elements contribute to a pleasant and aesthetically appealing reading experience.

We are pleased to have learned in this project about the potential of design as a transformative practice, from the ordinary to extraordinary, from the common to exceptional.
